Super Eagles soar above Libya's Mediterranean Knights -Full Match Analysis

Nigeria lost their first fixture in the AFCON Qualifiers 2-0 to South Africa before thrashing Seychelles 3-0 in Victoria. Libya lead the group with 4points from 2 matches going into this game but the tables turned in fashionable style. Odion Ighalo netted an impressive hat-trick, as Nigeria defeated Libya 4-0 in a 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier, played at the Akwa Ibom International Stadium in Uyo. The Super Eagles came into the game needing victory, to solidify their position in Group E and topple the visitors. Ighalo opened scoring from the penalty spot in the first half, which ended 1-0. The Chungtuna Yatai striker added a brace in the second half, before Samuel Kalu fired in a stunning fourth in the dying minutes of the game. The amusing ad involves two characters who are testing out the new feature. At some point, one of the characters receives a phone call warning him of his high electricity bill. Africa’s youngest billionaire kidnapped in Tanzania – Police Africa’s youngest billionaire was kidnapped on Thursday morning by gunmen in Tanzania’s economic capital Dar es Salaam, officials said. Mohammed Dewji, 40, who heads the MeTL Group which operates in about 10 countries with interests in agriculture to insurance, transport, logistics and the food industry, was snatched as he entered the gym of a hotel in the city. “Initial information indicates he was kidnapped by whites travelling in two vehicles,” regional governor Paul Makonda told journalists, adding that “this kind of incident is new here”. Dar es Salaam police chief Lazaro Mambosasa also implicated foreigners in the crime during a press conference, adding they had “shot into the air” before bustling Dewji into their car. Flash News - Senate confirms AMCON Chairman

Today , the Nigerian Senate confirmed the appointment of Mr. Banire, Muiz Adeyemi (Ph.D, SAN) as Chairman of the Governing Board of the Assets Management Corporation of Nigeria (AMCON) in compliance with Section 10(1) of the AMCON Act. The motion for consideration of the Report was moved by Senator Rafiu Ibrahim, and seconded by Senator Suleiman Adokwe. The Senate then dissolved into the committee of the whole for the clause-by-clause consideration of the report of Mr. Banire’s appointment, whereafter the nomination was confirmed by the full plenary.
